Pupil Code of Behaviour In Lessons: Work as well as you can, and allow others to do the same. Bring the right equipment. Plan your day. You will need a pen, pencil ruler, eraser, calculator, dictionary and your homework diary. You may also need a PE kit including a towel. Be sensible with it and remember to have it labelled. Have respect for any items the school provides for you. Do not chew gum or bring it to school. During break, lunch time and between lessons: Move safely and sensibly. Be aware of other people. Walk. Do not run. Keep to the one-way systems. Eat lunch/snacks only in designated areas, and dispose of litter in the bins provided. Share the playgrounds with others in a safe way. Avoid the out-of-bounds areas. Do not go off site at these times without permission. Before and after school remember: At the beginning and end of each day large numbers of students arrive at and leave the premises in a very short space of time. Act sensibly. Consider your own safety and the safety of others. The roads and car parks are busy at these times of day. Take care crossing the roads. At all times: Be polite to everyone. Be punctual. Have consideration for others. Have consideration for our school environment and equipment. Wear school uniform. Listen to and follow instructions. Complete homework to the best of your ability and hand it in on time. Keep all deadlines. Do not associate with intruders. Report their presence to the nearest teacher. Never bring into school items or substances which could be harmful to you or others.
