Our Curriculum AGS has adopted the curriculum policy of Solihull LEA. Together with our School Mission Statement and our aims and policies, we offer a broad, balanced curriculum offering a sound basis for the development of successful teaching and learning across our school. We operate a two-week timetable of 48, 60 minute lessons, 5 lessons per day on all school days except Wednesdays (4 lessons - school finishes at 14:00). All pupils study a common curriculum in Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) In Key Stage 4, (Years 10 & 11) the curriculum reflects different needs and aspirations of students. Our Key Stage 5 (Years 12 & 13), curriculum is delivered through our Sixth Form Centre. Approximately 60% of our students return each year to study a wide range of A-levels and vocational courses. In Key Stages 3 and 4 our curriculum satisfies the requirements of the National Curriculum.
